On January 22nd from 6-8pm, the Art of Community ensemble conducted their first community workshop for Mockingbird Trail. The workshop was a huge success and brought together a great crowd of like-minded individuals that are as excited for Mockingbird Trail as we are! During this interactive workshop, the Art of Community Ensemble team familiarized the group with the history and goal of the project, then attendees broke off into 4 teams of 10 and were put to work rotating between stations. The teams had a chance to get to know each other while sharing their thoughts and learning about the research being conducting to develop a strong concept for the trail and the sculptures that will appear along it.
