Mockingbird Trail | Workshop 2

Mockingbird Trail | Workshop 2

The mission of Mockingbird Trail is to encourage residents to get outside and explore. During the second community workshop, participants broke off into teams for an interactive scavenger hunt exploring the outdoor habitat of Flagler Village. By foot, bike or trolley, the participants were encouraged to participate in missions by interacting with their surroundings and fellow artwalk goers. The scavenger hunt was an introduction to the exploration possibilities and future route of the urban art trail.

The scavenger hunt started at Cadence Pop-up Gallery. Using the scavenger hunt application, Goosechase, the teams were able to document their experiences digitally and share with friends through social media. After completing the missions, the teams met back at Cadence Pop-up Gallery where the workshop continued with a presentation by Valeria Yamamoto on the concept for the sculptures and by Cadence on the proposed trail route.

Thank you to Argyle Coffee Roasters, Cycle Party and NSU Art Museum for the scavenger hunt prizes!
